triple j to do Hottest 100 of 20 years

On May 14 voting begins to find the Hottest 100 songs from the past 20 years.

triple j listeners are being asked to vote for up to 20 songs from the last 20 years (that's between Jan 1993 and Dec 2012).

Voting will close on June 2 with the countdown playing on triple j on the weekend of June 8 and 9.

A strong tactic from triple j that is sure to engage their listeners as it usually does at the beginning of each year.

triple j are also using digital pop up station ABC Extra to play every song that’s made it into the Hottest 100 lists over the last 2 decades. Listen from Tuesday 14 May – Friday 7 June.
