‘Trial By Kyle’ up against established offerings from Eddie McGuire, Mick Molloy & Sam Pang

Former Assistant Editor

Kyle Sandilands‘ new reality television series Trial By Kyle is set to air as part of Channel 10’s ‘Pilot Week’ on Thursday, August 23, but he’ll be up against stiff competition from fellow radio heads.

The national pilot episode of the Judge Judy-style show hosted by the KIIS FM jock will clash in traditional AFL states with Mick Molloy, Sam Pang & Andy Maher‘s The Front Bar on Channel Seven and Eddie McGuire‘s The Footy Show (AFL) on Nine.

All three shows will air at 8:30pm, a slot that’s been won by Seven recently (who averaged 274,000 viewers), with Nine averaging 139,000 viewers.

Ten’s Pilot Week will feature other past and present radio personalities including Rove McManus, Harley Breen and Dave O’Neil, and was recently slammed by Triple M’s Jane Kennedy for featuring a 100% male lineup of hosts.

Two problems for King Kyle. 1) outside of Sydney no one really cares. 2) Channel 10.
