‘the way we do things around here’

Fairfax Media CEO Greg Hywood has taken the unusual step of emailing a video to all staff outlining the new company culture and values.

In the 5 minute video, which you can watch below, Hywood says: 

"we have to stop any dysfunctional internal competition and we can no longer afford to work in silos with little or no collaboration".

Hywood says that the values were designed following a staff engagement survey, followed by 21 focus groups.
