The Morning Rush brings the Refugee Crisis close to home

The Morning Rush with Maria Foundas and Jon Vertigan goes out on the ACE Network stations 3YB, 3WM, 3HA, 3CS and 3SH. Maria was back on air this morning after a holiday in the Greek Islands. While it was nice escape, it was also close to the Turkish border and Maria was there as the Syrian refugee crisis started to unfold. She spoke with some Syrian refugees on her way home.  “An eye opener to say the least”, said Maria.

There were 158 on her boat alone. Hear her story below.
