Sizzletown Episode 05: Possum Bother

How much ‘real life’ goes into the making of Tony Martin’s Sizzletown? We’re into episode 5 and it’s safe to say there are a lot of ‘real-life’ moments to draw on.

The premise is simple. Sizzletown is the world’s first late-night call-in podcast, hosted by Tony and with Matt Dower on the ‘Pots n Pans’.

As it says in the blurb, the callers are highly suspect and the whole thing is in constant danger of running off the rails. It’s also very clever and the scenarios are strangely very, very familiar.

In the latest episode, the recording is hampered by possums, Dion and Dave Clacton call in and Tony makes a call to David Bowie’s brother.
