Sea FM’s Woody too close to fire for comfort

As the Tasmanian bushfires began to take hold, Sea FM's Woody (pictured), from the 'Nick & Woody' Breakfast show found herself and her family far closer to the action than was comfortable.

Woody told Sea FM listeners;

"We were camping on a bush block at Eagle Hawk Neck, (I was) with my hubby Jase, my brother, his wife and their three kids, you can imagine kids ranging from 2 to 8"

"We actually left our camping trailer, our cooking gear everything, got outta there. By the time we were leaving, the redness of the hill behind us was ferocious, we knew this fire was coming"
