Alo Baker’s Aussie Dreamlivers to air on Foxtel

Staff Writer

After making waves on television screens over the ditch, Alo Baker’s Aussie Dreamlivers is coming to Australia on Foxtel.

Co-hosted by the SeaFM workday announcer, alongside Jonny Hibbard and cameraman Gimley, the Alaskan adventure series will be televised in a primetime slot on Foxtel’s A&E starting October 5.

The six-part series was originally aired in New Zealand on TVNZ Duke and TVNZ OnDemand, quadrupling station numbers in the original season playout.

Baker is more than excited to see the show go to air in Australia, after the admitting the team had hardly any experience in video editing prior to making the show.

“Considering we had no TV experience in the slightest we’re genuinely blown away,” he told Radio Today. “We didn’t even think it’d make it to TV let alone have a primetime spot on Foxtel.”

From hilarious encounters with grizzly bears, to gun-toting hillbillies, and crowded American Independence Day fireworks, the boys turned their sightseeing trip into an Alaskan adventure, capturing all the best and wildest moments.

You can catch Aussie Dreamlivers on Foxtel’s A&E at 7:30pm AEST starting Thursday October 5.

This show is incredible it’s a really genuine love that Alo has for these sorts of things. If you ever ask him about Canada, moose, or grizzly bears you’ll be there for hours. It’s a great series Alo and Jonny are very talented, Alo’s talents extend way beyond his successful radio career.
