Nova Entertainment has teamed up with News Corp and Fox Sports to help back new start-ups into becoming household brands.

In a first, the three companies have created a dedicated equity fund called Scaleup Mediafund – allowing start-ups to leverage to the masses through News Corp, Fox Sports and with radio and digital with Nova Entertainment’s smooth and Nova brands.

Scaleup will offer deals to businesses that can demonstrate their ability to grow, and in exchange for equity in their start-ups they will also deliver ad campaigns, marketing and reporting.
