SCA Perth GM Gina Hogan appointed director of Committee for Perth

Former Assistant Editor

SCA’s Gina Hogan is one of two new directors appointed to the Committee for Perth, on three-year terms.

The SCA Perth general manager has been appointed along with chairman for WA Super Tim Shanahan, following the retirement of directors John Langoulant AO and Gaye McMath.

Hogan said joining the Board will provide her with an opportunity to give back to her new home of Perth.

“I am delighted to be joining the Committee for Perth Board. I have a great deal of respect for the work they do for the community and their dedication to helping our city move forward in an ever positive direction,” said Hogan.

“I have 20 years’ experience working within the media, and my time in its changing landscape has taught me to be adaptable, forward-thinking and proactive.

“This opportunity to give back to Perth and contribute to shaping its identity, purpose and infrastructure is a very exciting proposition.”

“I’d like to congratulate both Gina and Tim on their appointment to the Board from a field of very good candidates,” said Committee for Perth Chair, Kate Lamont.

“They both bring a wealth of experience with them, Gina in media and communications, and Tim in member-based organisations and the development of the State.

“I look forward to working with both of them as the Committee continues its work to reshape, reform and revitalise the Perth and Peel regions.”
