Ryan and Toni forced to apologise for car crash

Hosts of the Toni and Ryan podcast have apologized to Lara Khoury for causing her to crash her car in Burnside in Adelaide.

Khoury was listening to a segment when she had a laughing fit and ran into the back of another car.

She told hosts Toni Lodge and Ryan that she was listening to Toni “yelling away at end of the podcast whilst impersonating baby kittens, I was laughing my ass off about it and rear ended someone.”

Whilst conceding the damage was bad, Khoury told Toni and Ryan the car is still functional, but at a cost.

“I can still drive the car but it’s like when you drive around and see those people who are absolute f**kwits with their broken cars and you’re like, ‘why haven’t you fixed that’ yeah, I’m now one of those people,” said Khoury.

When Khoury told the other driver in the accident about what caused the crash she was relived to learn they were quite understanding.

“They were really chill about it. I got the sweetest person ever,” said Khoury.

In the episode titled ‘Lara’s Bingle,’ Toni Lodge and Ryan Jon both apologised to Khoury and sent her flowers although the note created an awkward moment for both the florist and Khoury.

The note read, “We’re really sorry you ended up in someone else’s butt and we’re sorry the florist doesn’t know the context of this and now it’s probably awkward for both of you. – Toni and Ryan”

Toni and Ryan launched their self-titled podcast just 10 weeks ago with iHeartRadio and have already received 4 million downloads. Combined they have over 1.4 million TikTok followers and 400,000 Instagram followers.
