RN appoint EP for religion unit

Jane Jeffes is the new executive producer for Radio National's religion unit.

Jeffes has worked in the UK and Australia and has a background in religion programming and production in her time at the BBC.

RN Manager Louise Evans said:

"Jane has great enthusiasm for the work of the religion unit and a strong belief in and support for its important and unique place in the Australian media landscape."

"Jane has a great track record in leading creative teams and extensive experience in religious programming in radio, TV and film."

"Jane will be a strong addition to the RN leadership team.''

Jeffes said: "I'm very excited by the wealth of experience, talent and specialist knowledge in the religion unit and delighted to be joining RN which plays such a strong agenda-setting role in the national conversation.''

The RN religion unit produce The Religion and Ethics Report, The Spirit of Things, Encounter and The Rhythm Divine, as well as The God Who Sings on Classic FM and Sunday Nights on ABC Local Radio.
