One Direction play for SCA

In a major coup Southern Cross Austereo have hosted a secret One Direction show for 200 people at Trackdown Studios in Sydney's Moore Park.

Competition winners were flown in from around the country, from the metropolitan Today network stations and from the regional network. For security reasons, all attendees were bused to the venue in secret after it was moved from 2Day FM's World Square rooftop.

Perhaps more than any other content since the merger of Southern Cross and Austereo, this One Direction private concert has shown the potential for leveraging the influence and power of the metropolitan network for the benefit of their regional cousins.
