Nine News team take on Nova’s Lip Sync Challenge
9News Brisbane Melissa Downes and Andrew Lofthouse and the entire Channel 9 Brisbane newsroom are the latest to take part in Nova 106.9’s ‘Thank God it’s Thaiday’ Lip Sync Challenge.
Nova 106.9’s ‘Thank God it’s Thaiday’ exposes a different side to Broncos player Sam Thaiday, who is joined in the studio by TV’s Kimberley Busteed and Nova 106.9’s Katie Mattin every Saturday morning from 7am.
‘Thank God it’s Thaiday’ isn’t about Sam the footballer – instead this show is about everything else Sam does and loves – music, gardening, cooking and his role of being a father and husband and showcases his natural storytelling abilities and wicked sense of humour.
Nova 106.9 General Manager and Programming Director Jay Walkerden said he was excited Sam was part of the Nova Brisbane family.
“Sam is both a much loved local as well as a Nova listener favourite having been a regular contributor to the Ash, Kip & Luttsy breakfast show for the past five years, so it’s great to have him now host his own show every Saturday alongside Kimberley Busteed and Katie Mattin.”
Walkerden was the guy who cherry picked former Brisbane Lions captain Jonathan “Browny” Brown, who is now at Nova100 and recently swimmer Susie O’Neill who appears on Ash, Kip & Luttsy at breakfast.
