Ian Blackley has left the 96FM Breakfast show. ARN have announced a restructuring of the show as part of their plans to re-launch 96FM later this year. With Ian’s departure it will now be a duo “Carmen and Fitz.

Cath Dwyer has been appointed Manager of 702 ABC Sydney.

Warwick Tiernan has been appointed  Manager of 774 ABC Melbourne.

Richard Smith has started with SCA as their new Head of Digital Design. Richard has been in the business for over 16 years and has worked on some of world’s biggest Global brands and accounts including leading agency teams with VML and M&C Saatchi.

NOVA Entertainment has appointed Neil O’Reilly as General Manager for Nova 919 and FIVEaa in Adelaid.

He’s been the Group CD at 92.7 Mix FM and SEA FM for the last nine years, Ryan “Ryno” Khay pulled the pin and is about to head off on a new adventure in the Tropics. Ryan is heading up to Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea for a new network role with CHM Supersound.

Alison Donnellan is heading to Triple M Brisbaneto be both On-Air and as Operations Manager. She is currently morning announcer and Assistant Content Director at Star FM Albury and makes the move next month.

After close to 30 years with the company and five years in charge of Australia’s largest commercial radio group, Craig Bruce has departed Southern Cross Austereo as Group Content Director. Craig shared with all SCA Staff: “The people at SCA have been like a second family to me for virtually all of my working life. I started as a mid-dawn Announcer at the Fox in 1988 and have been fortunate enough to work with some of the most passionate and talented content creators in the world – as a true radio fan-boy, it’s been an incredible experience. I’m sure there’ll be plenty of success for SCA as it heads into an exciting new phase.”

Creina Chapman is joining SCA as Head of Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Communications. The new role will see Creina represent Southern Cross Austereo’s interests on industry bodies like  Commercial Radio Australia and FreeTV, as well as engaging with government regarding legislative change and managing corporate communications.

Perth radio legend Gary Shannon is joining 6IX. He is hosting a new series “What’s on in Perth” and other projects for the station.
