Ant Middlemiss will become Group Content Director – Digital, and will continue to oversee all digital content and corporate image for ACE Radio.

Lauren Buckley is now the Group Promotions Director for ACE Radio. She will work on group promotional tactics, compliance and implementation.

The carnage of all the Melbourne breakfast changes for 2016 continues, with confirmation this morning that Tommy Little will not be returning to breakfast radio. On-Air this morning Tommy said: “I did want to take a chance to just say thank you to all the staff here. We’ve got a fantastic team around us. I’ve had such a great two years doing the show, I’ve had such a great two years with you (Meshel). Let’s celebrate what’s been a really great time and let’s smash out some really funny shows.”

Melinda Schneider joins Star 104.5. Love Songs with Melinda Schneider on Star 104.5, is the first locally produced night show on the Central Coast in over eight years.

Triple M has announced the appointment of Vaughan Hobbs to the newly created role of ‘Network Head of Music’. Vaughan  most recently has programmed More FM Auckland, the Solid Gold Network, and was the launch programmer of rock station The Sound. He will be based in Melbourne and commences in his new role on 30 November.

Canberra FM, the ARN/SCA joint venture, has announced longtime Breakfast co-host Scotty Masters will be leaving the show.

Southern Cross Austereo have confirmed Rove McManus will join the Hit Network to do Sydney Breakfast on 2Day FM in 2016. Who else is joining has not been announced yet.

After 9 months Dan & Maz run in Sydney breakfast will come to a close. The team will take a break and return in 2016 to present network weekend breakfast.

Chrissie Swan is joining Nova100 on breakfast for 2016. Chrissie Swan said, “I have loved Nova since it first burst into Melbourne and it’s a dream come true. I’ve truly missed chatting to my beloved Melburnians on a daily basis and I can’t wait to get cracking in 2016. I’m back! And I could not be more excited.”

ARN have confirmed their 2016 line-up for Melbourne’s KIIS 101.1 with Meshel Laurie jumping ship to join Matt Tilley for breakfast in 2016. Meshel has been part of Nova Entertainment since 2005. She was on breakfast at Nova 106.9 Brisbane, which went on to become one of the highest rating shows in Brisbane. She was later joined by Tim Blackwell and Marty Sheargold. In 2011 the team moved to Melbourne and went national on drive for NE. By late 2013, Nova 100 announced that Meshel would join Tommy Little to host Meshel & Tommy replacing Hughesy & Kate on Breakfast.
