Shane O’Brien has been appointed the new General Manager for River 949 Ipswich. Shane has been with the company since 2012 as was the GM at Mackay.  He also worked with the Prime Radio Network in both Mackay and Cairns prior to Grants purchasing the group.

Justine Price is the new GM for Grant’s Mackay brands – ZINC and 4MK. Justine has been with the company since 2013 as their Retail Sales Manager in Mackay. Justine picked up an ACRA in 2012 for Best Direct Salesperson (Provincial) for her work with SCA at the time.

Jane Gazzo, she’s been added as the new host of Triple M’s Homegrown across the country. Jane’s music cred sees her part of Triple M’s 35 year history of the Homegrown show.

Sarah Passalick returns to Darwin’s alongside stand-up comic Ben Stevenson to launch Hot100’s new breakfast Show.

Adam Williscroft is the new DAB plus Content Director – Music Stations for SCA.

Jaime Chaux has been appointed to a new position with SCA as Head of Digital Audio. It will cover their podcast platforms, RadioApp, Audio on Demand & streaming services. For the last few years he has been behind SCA’s DAB plus stations.

hit92.9 Perth Content Director Todd Campbell is crossing the ditch to become the new Group CD of The Hits Network for NZME. Todd’s been in Perth since 2012. He first joined SCA in a group CD role in Newcastle in 2011 after many years with Nova Entertainment and Nova100.

Jac Bowie is joining NT Broadcasters Mix 104.9FM on air team in Darwin. The Founder and CEO of Business in Heels, author, actor and promoter will take on the 3pm – 7pm Drive show.

Dave Daly is making the move north to join Mix 104.9FM in Darwin as PD. Dave will join the station later this month after working with Magic 882 in Brisbane. Dave’s industry experience spans a number of stations and markets. On the Sunshine Coast he was part of the Fat Boys breakfast team with Steve St John. Dave has also worked in Newcastle, Ipswich, Brisbane and even Townsville with HOT FM.

Sam Frost will be joining Rove McManus on 2Day FM. Launching Monday November 9, Rove & Sam.
