Osher Gúnsberg is joining Stav and Abby on hit105 Breakfast in Brisbane for 2016. Osher is the host of The Bachelor Australia and The Bachelorette with ‘Stav and Abby, now with Osher’ starting in January.

Sam Thompson has been appointed Melbourne Content Director for KIIS 101.1 and GOLD104.3. Sam was previously Content Director for GOLD104.3.

Mathew Eggleston will become KIIS 101.1 Operations Manager in Melbouirne. He joins ARN from SCA where he worked at 2DayFM and was National Today Hit Network Music Director in Sydney.

Bryan Madigan has been appointed GOLD104.3 Operations Manager. Bryan joined the GOLD104.3 content team in January 2015 and has previously worked as Music Director at Gold Coast’s Sea FM.

Forever Classic 6iX is launching “Good Morning Perth with Maddie and Goss” for 2016. Channel 10’s Tim Gossage and Madelaine Burke, formally of Nova 93.7 will be the new team as they target 40-64’s in the competitive breakfast space.

Joining Chrissie Swan on Nova 100 breakfast for 2016 is Comedian Sam Pang and former Brisbane Lions player Jonathan Brown. They will take over from Meshel & Tommy on Nova 100.

Amanda Lee is heading back west to be the new Content Director for hit929 Perth. Amanda is currently the ACD for Fox Melbourne. For the past 12 months she has also been working with Hit Network Group CD Dave Cameron with their network shows out of Melbourne and working with the talent of YouTube Hits and Scoopla.

Annick Perrin has joined Macquarie Radio Network as Head of Agency Sales – Sydney. She was Managing Director of media agency Starcom Sydney and has 20 years experience.

Richard “The Love God” Mercer is taking break from radio after 30 years. Since 2014 Richard has been part of WSFM’s Night-time line-up with “Your Song” but he is possibly best known for his Love Song Dedications program on Mix106.5. It was one of ARN’s longest running programs and was On-Air for 17 years until December 2013.

Brisbane’s Magic 882 will now be networked from Melbourne. MRN made a move on the station Wednesday afternoon where it was announced that the On-Air team and some admin staff would be made redundant. The only On-Air  person left standing is Donna Lynch, who will do nights in Brisbane which will be heard in both markets. In Brisbane, Magic 882 Breakfast announcer Ian Keenan, Operation Manager Ashley Easter, Drive’s Greg Victor, Greg Hinks who did nights and Kim Dennison who was on overnights are amongst the casualties.
