KIX Country has appointed Justin Thomson as its new Program/ Content Director. Justin moves from Perth having spent the past fifteen years creating and presenting specialized programming for the Spirit Radio Network and as weekend presenter on MIX 94.5 in Perth. Justin’s current two hour weekly program World Tour of Country has been heard across Western Australia, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria, showcasing the best Australian and international Country Music.

Meshel Laurie will also team up with Katie ‘Monty’ Dimond as the new The 3PM Pick Up team on the KIIS Network in 2016.

Tim Shaw will be joining Talking Canberra 2CC, as host of Breakfast for 2016. For the last 3 years, Tim has been based in Thailand as the senior journalist for the Seven Network, as well as host of the ASEAN news hour and on Live 89.5FM.

Tim Wong-See is heading to Nova 106.9 Brisbane. Tim’s moving from Nova Sydney where he has been doing Network Late Nights, he will now be covering arvos in the river city.

Adrian Brine will be the new CD for FOX FM Melbourne from early 2016 replacing Dave Cameron. Taking Adrian’s spot at hit105 Brisbane will be Mathew Eggleston.

After a 12 month run, SEA FM Gold Coast’s Galey, Ross & Charli is no more. Ross Wallman, who came from hit92.9 Perth to be the anchor of Breakfast on the GC is leaving the show. Ross made the announcement on Twitter saying he was heading back to Perth and taking a “break for now”.

Aaron Stevens from RIVER 949  Ipswich is heading to Central Queensland to head up Breakfast at 4RO in Rockhampton.

Sydney’s 2UE will launch its summer line-up. On Breakfast, former Ten news and sports guy Bill Woods and entertainment reporter Angela Bishop.

Eskimo Joe guitarist and co-founder Stuart MacLeod is the new General Manager of Perth community radio station RTRFM 92.1. He takes over “before the end of the year”, according to the station.

101.3 Sea FM on the Central Coast is set to welcome a new Breakfast Show, “Bree & Gawndy for Breakfast” in 2016.  Brianna Tomasel & Daniel Gawned come from Nova 106.9 Brisbane, where they have worked together On-Air with weekend breakfast for the last two years.
