Mix’s pop-up wedding live on-air

Yesterday, Mix 102.3's breakfast show 'Jodie, Mark & Snowy' held the finale of a comp where listeners entered to win a free wedding.

The happy couple, Dave and Anne-Marie, were the winners but the station only revealed to Dave that they had won due to the twist that came next.

He had to spring a surprise proposal while Anne-Marie was walking to a business meeting. She said 'Yes' and both were then told they had to get married right there and then live on Mix.

Jodie, Mark & Snowy then performed the commitment ceremony in front of family, friends and shoppers in an Adelaide shopping arcade.

Dave and Anne-Marie also won a $50,000 wedding package to go ahead and celebrate their real wedding.
