Lu & Jarch go live nationally today on Triple M
Buckle up for the ride – Lu & Jarch will today go to air live nationally (Tuesday June 10) on Triple M’s new Early Drive show.
Airing weekdays from 2pm to 4pm across the Triple M network, Luisa Dal Din and Jack Archdale join the Ms off the back of their successful podcast We Mean Well, through which they’ve built a loyal audience with their sharp, irreverent take on everyday life.
Their distinctive style was considered a natural fit for Triple M, aligning with the network’s core pillars of sport and comedy.
Originating from New Zealand, Luisa has quickly made her mark in Australia’s digital and audio comedy landscape scene, drawing on her background in radio production and media to create sharp and engaging content.
Jarch draws heavily on his country upbringing as inspiration for his short videos. His authentic, comic take on rural and suburban culture have earned him a loyal following – boasting over 371K followers and 5.5M Likes on TikTok, along with 175K followers on Instagram.
Ahead of their first show, Lu said “I’m extremely excited and also a bit nervous, hopefully the dump button doesn’t get a good workout. Very much looking forward to starting on the Triple M airways on Tuesday”
Having done a bit of everything over the years – including radio sales – Jarch said: “Super exciting to go from the sales floor to behind the glass, it’s a bit of a 360 moment for me. Couldn’t be happier to have Lu by my side for it.”
Matthew O’Reilly, Head of Triple M Metro Content, said “The ideas Lu and Jarch have come in with have genuinely blown us away. They bring a fresh, funny and unpredictable energy that’s set to teach us all some new tricks about radio. Expect a chaotic, clever and hilarious take on everyday things.”
Lu and Jarch will be anchored by Triple M Sydney’s Lachie Pringle and joined by a production team led by Executive Producer Codie Jones.
Codie brings over 14 years of live radio experience across Australia and the UK, most recently at triple j Breakfast. She also spent time as Creative Content Director on Capital Breakfast in London and began her radio career as a Producer with SCA.
Joining her is Producer Ashley Kind and Digital Producer Lachlan Paull.
Triple M’s Lu & Jarch will air from 2pm to 4pm nationwide followed by The Rush Hour with JB & Billy in the AFL states (Victoria, Adelaide, Western Australia and Tasmania), The Rush Hour with Dobbo & Elliott in Queensland and The Rush Hour with Maroon in New South Wales.
Triple M’s Lu & Jarch can be heard weekdays from 2pm – 4pm from June 10 on Triple M or on the free LiSTNR app.
Luisa is one of Australian media’s brightest talents, awesome to have her back on the airwaves!
Why is a music radio station having so much crap in the afternoon! Its bad enough that weekends after 12 is rugby , now week days are just as bad.
The worst I have ever heard, I’m in the Albury region and thought I would give them a couple of weeks but only lasted 3 days , what a load of rubbish.
These two have to be one of the worst radio shows I have ever heard. Since coming onto MMM, my entire workplace switches the station when they come on. TERRIBLE and RUBBISH! It was bad enough switching at 4pm with all the sports talk but now we’re switching stations at 2pm even earlier because of these two haha.
What is wrong with Triple M – there afternoon shows are garbage. Bring back Marty.
Was a little dubious at first and it took me a while to warm to them, but after the first week I think these guys are great and getting better all the time. Very entertaining and funny.
Good choice Triple M.
What is this amateur crap……bring back Marty Sheargold!!
Banana, peanut butter, honey and sultana’s,after every surf we had at Ocean grove , as kids , then the milko came around in the camping ground, and had a Big M , ready for us
Matthew O’Reilly, you are really missing the boat, Lu and Jarch are absolute rubbish. It was a very sad day here in the west when Cliff Reeve retire. We had intelligent banter and lots of good music in the afternoons to end the day, now we have a dumb duo, apparently because all stations have to have more than one announcer…….I don’t know why, that talk about nothing but crap. These two are then followed by an equally less talented group of ex footballers who talk the same rubbish. I enjoy my music and subsequently have switched off triple M in the afternoons and now listen to streaming services.
Radio station was on MMM all day every day at work, now it gets changed to anything but these 2 every day at 2pm.
MMM, if you can’t afford real talent, just play music
Get rid of the free loaders on the 1400-1600 show. They are shockers do you like dwindling ratings. Just make it all music as those people aren’t even close to comedy. Kick them to the kerb…
