Lord Mayor to fill in on 3AW drive

During the one week survey break next week, Melbourne Lord Mayor Robert Doyle will host 3AW Drive while Tom Elliott takes leave.

3AW's GM Shane Healy said: “Robert Doyle has definitely 'been there – done that' before and it’s great that listeners will have a direct line into the Lord Mayor.

“Robert has also very generously decided to donate his 3AW fee to five different charities.

“3AW 693 has always been Talking Melbourne – and this takes it to a new level."

Doyle says, "It's been a few years since I've sat behind the microphone at 3AW 693, but I am very much looking forward to the opportunity to be there once again. I have big shoes to fill because Tom’s been doing a fantastic job this year."
