Staff Writer

Southern Cross Austereo's Corey Layton is leaving the network, and the industry, after a 20 year career in radio including time with SCA, DMG and ARN.

Layton is moving to sponsorship, activations and content agency 'Ensemble' to work in a national role as a creative strategy director.

The move coincides with a new General Manager for Ensemble Melbourne, Ben Edmonds.

Enemble CEO Justin Ricketts said;

"These two appointments accelerate the quality and speed of our client responses and are important additions to our national growth, Corey Layton is highly respected in the industry"

Corey was most recently SCA's Response & Activation Director but has also worked as a producer, a Commercial Programme Controller for Global Radio in the UK, was Breakfast Producer and Promotions Manager at DMG, and was a foundation announcer at both Nova 96.9 Sydney and Nova 100 Melbourne.

Corey began his career as Captain Turntable at Hitz FM.

Good luck on the new adventure Corey !
