SEN Content Scheduler

Sports Entertainment Network, Melbourne or Sydney
Application close: 30 Jun 2022

Content Scheduler (Sydney or Melbourne)

Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) is one of the largest sports media content and entertainment businesses, with the unique capability to deliver brand stories to national and international audiences, across Australia and New Zealand. This is achieved via multiple platforms including radio, print, television, digital, in-stadium and events. SEN is a dynamic sport led business on an exciting growth journey and we’re looking for match fit talent to join our passionate team of sales professionals.

SEN is looking for a full time Content Scheduler based in Melbourne or Sydney.

  • Full time (Thursday – Monday)

This is a new role for SEN responsible for scheduling all Shows and Live Sport on all SEN Stations (including SEN and SENTrack Stations across Australia and SENZ across New Zealand) working closely with the Content Managers ensuring the SEN Broadcast Guide is reflective of all Audio Content and the Team working.

The SEN Broadcast Guide is an easy-to-use database which captures all Shows, Live Sport, Talent, Journalists, Producers and Assistant Producers which demonstrates what and who is on each Radio Station for the audience to view and allocation of shifts for Talent, Journalists, Producers and Assistant Producers to access.

The ideal candidate we are looking for will have:

  • A love of data-entry;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Outstanding communication skills – verbal and written;
  • The ability to be nimble – live sport fixtures will change – and covid has meant last minute people replacements will be required;
  • Problem solving skills working closely with the Content Managers on Team shifts, new Shows and transition of Shows;
  • Ability to work long term with short term accuracy;

An interest in sport preferred (you’ll be doing a lot of listening to ensure the Broadcast Guide reflects what’s on air) – plus there is an opportunity to produce shows (producing skills preferred but not necessary)
