ARN’s Business Intelligence (BI) team is where research, data, insights and scenario planning happen. The team provides a single source of truth for the company, through the creation, collation, and communication of information about our audiences to the business and our clients.

About The Role:

The BI team takes research and insights to a new level. Our objective is to: increase data accessibility and ease of use, automate manual tasks, expedite delivery, and instigate action to support commercial and audience growth. This role is integral to delivering these in a timely manner that is both efficient and effective.

Reporting to the BI Manager, this person will work closely with the team across the following four pillars: effectiveness research, audience measurement, insights & planning, and persuasive communication. They will be heavily involved in the collation and processing of data and enablement of teams’ access to it, assisting in project management, and be given exposure to some of the latest research technology and methodologies, such as neuroscience, data analytics, in addition to more traditional methodologies using quantitative and qualitative research.

About You:
  • Experience using media analytics tools (e.g., Roy Morgan, Nielsen, Fusion, Adobe Analytics etc.) is desirable. Ability to pick it up quickly is essential.
  • Understanding of how research methodologies and data measurement are used by media companies for advertising trading and connecting with audiences.
  • Strong numeric and verbal skills.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with high attention to detail and accuracy taking pride in timely delivery.
  • A ‘can-do’ approach, proactive and have a growth mindset for learning research and data analysis.
