We currently have an exciting role as a Breakfast Audio Producer for KIIS 973 to join Content Team in Brisbane and work with the Robin, Terry and Kip Breakfast Show.

This role is an integral part of the Breakfast Show. You will be working very closely with the Executive Producer and Robin Terry and Kip to produce audio that shapes the sound of the Breakfast Show.

First and foremost, the successful candidate will be the right culture fit – we have a fun and energetic team driven to win. We work hard and have a lot of fun while doing it. About The Role:

  • Audio production, including but not limited to in show content for KIIS 973 breakfast show. This includes editing interviews, sourcing and constructing comedy elements and jingles in conjunction with the shows performers and writers.
  • Sourcing show grabs and other elements as required by the performers and Executive Producer
  • Producing the daily recorded promo’s and forward teases – preparing content for the weekend and holiday replay shows and other audio requests from the content director.
  • Produce and upload the daily show podcast requirements including full show and show snippets as required by the show.
  • Breakfast show crediting for sponsorships and ensuring all required client audio elements are produced.
  • Voice-over elements where required.
  • Proactive in seize / idea creation to ensure innovative and engaging sounds are regularly created. Listen and monitor the world for what is next!
  • Aware of and operating within guidelines set by ARN and the Australian Commercial Radio Codes and Standards are always being complied with.
  • Complete APRA reporting ensuring it is completed accurately and on time.
  • Keep abreast of latest production technology, techniques, and style and bring these to life in your sound design.

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a radio production role or similar in a metropolitan or provincial radio station.
  • Early riser – switched on and ready to roll at 4:30am every day (… we provide coffee)
  • Sound knowledge and quick ability on Pro-tools or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the Nexgen playout system a plus
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of stakeholders, key partners
  • Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects, working with multiple stakeholders, in a fast-paced and results driven environment
