A rare community focussed breakfast news opportunity has opened up with Grant Broadcasters.

Based in Nowra, the successful candidate will be up bright and early delivering weekday local breakfast news bulletins to the Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands on Grant Broadcasters Power and 2ST streams.

Grant Broadcasters is focussed on providing local content to its audience on air and online.

The journalist will write and publish content for the station’s digital channels including presenting a daily video update.
The role also requires a daily news discussion on the 2ST breakfast show.
We are looking for a journalist who will live in the Shoalhaven, embrace local news, events and sport and take direction to ensure we are 100% local.
Experience with Newsboss is a must while knowledge of Zetta is favourable.
Strong presentation, interviewing, editing, writing skills and news judgement are a must, while previous journalism experience in the local area will be looked upon favourably.
Training and development will be provided.
This role also comes with an overtime opportunity to write and present weekend NSW news bulletins when rostered.
