About ABC Audiences

The Audio Creatives working across our triple j brands sit within the Audiences division at the ABC. Audiences is made up of a passionate group of marketing, brand, creative, audience experience, UX and audience insights specialists who have audiences at the heart of all they do. They’re responsible for leading the ABC’s brand and audience strategies, acquiring and engaging audiences both within our broadcast and digital ecosystems and working collaboratively with partner divisions to lead an integrated approach to audience insights, branding, acquisition and retention strategies, and communication.

About the Role

Reporting to the Audio Creative Manager, this is a key role in a dynamic team crafting highly creative and effective audio promotions and imaging across triple j, Double J and triple j Unearthed.

Under general direction you will write and produce on-air campaigns to promote programs, events, and special promotions, including cross promotions for other ABC platforms and services as required.

About You

First and foremost, you are a music lover! With experience in crafting promotions and imaging for music stations or platforms.

This is also a dynamic role and requires an audio creative who can manage a workload covering several different brands. An audio creative with clear, considerate communication skills, and an ability to cultivate productive and collaborative relationships with colleagues at all levels.

You will demonstrate a creative and independent conceptual ability and be able to generate imaginative and original approaches to promotional campaigns. With proven experience in creating and producing standout radio promotions and campaigns, including the use of ProTools or other audio editing software. You will have well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to express ideas effectively and convey information both through written media and in a cohesive team environment.
