It’s a monster hit in the UK, watched by an average of 13.5 million viewers.

UK’s Ant and Dec host it and filming is about to ramp up on the Gold Coast .

One guy from Kiis106.5 has got himself a role on the UK version of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

Kiis 106.5's Simon Baggs is being flown up to the Gold Coast soon to do a full week of shows on location as the stand in for Ant and Dec in November.

UK production company ITV have a crew of 600 people working on the site, so it will be a little different to sitting in the radio studio.

Baggs' told RadioToday: “I can’t wait to see what we will be shooting, I’ve watched I’m a Celebrity for years and Ant and Dec film some pretty outrageous stunts.”

“It will be an amazing experience learning from the Executive Producers of the show and working with the crew”

Everything Ant and Dec do on camera for the show, Baggs will do. He will be working with the UK Celebrities going through each scene, including the entire opening show. All this so the producers can see exactly how everything looks before going LIVE back to the UK.

The Australian version of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here has just started casting celebs for its 2015 debut on Channel Ten.
