HOT FM WA’s Ryan and Rosie had a mission.

They were on the search for a "man band" free from boys who wear jeans skinnier than theirs, and hair higher than it should be.

Rosie said “Us girls were sick of perving on these 16 year boy bands who spent more time looking in the mirror than us”

Yep, they got a group of seniors willing and ready to take to the stage with their hype girls.

Ryan said: “WA was getting over Boy Bands so with the help of WA we created a Man Band, The 5 Seniors Of Summer.”

They were all nominated by listeners (the performers children, grandchildren etc etc over the last few weeks and they performed at Bunbury's Centrepoint last night for their fans.
