2DayFM’s Grant Denyer grilled over Gold Logie nom on ‘Hard Chat’

2DayFM‘s Grant Denyer was Tom Gleeson‘s guest on ‘Hard Chat’ yesterday, and Tom had a lot of questions about his Gold Logie nomination.

“Are the Logies broken?” asked Tom, after pointing out that the Family Feud host had been nominated for a show that has been axed.

“If I had of known it was this easy to get nominated I would’ve had all my shows axed a long time ago,” the 2DayFM host responded.

Grant had an answer for just about everything that Tom Gleeson threw at him.

“Was it hard to do a survey of 100 people when even 100 people weren’t watching?” Tom asked, sending Grant into hysterics.

Suddenly things turned around, with Tom realising just how preposterous it was that Grant was even nominated, and he decided to join Grant’s campaign spur-of-the-moment.

Tom Gleeson wasn’t the only one to question Grant’s nomination this week, with Kyle Sandilands accusing him of “voting for himself” earlier this week.

Other radio personalities up for awards include Carrie Bickmore and Dave Hughes.

The Logies take place this Sunday July 1 on the Gold Coast.
