Grant Denyer gets another TV gig with ‘Celebrity Name Game’

Staff Writer

Grant Denyer will return to the 6pm Weeknight slot on Network Ten just a few short months after his long-term gig hosting Family Feud wrapped up.

The 2DayFM host won the Gold Logie in 2018 for the axed show, but now Ten has gone back to Denyer for a show called Celebrity Name Game.

Ten has axed quiz show Pointless which was hosted by Dr Andrew Rochford and Mark Humphries, which failed to rate in the meantime.

“Celebrity Name Game is a new, fast-paced game show that will leave you on the edge of your seat, with the biggest names on pop culture on the tip of your tongue,” said Ten in a statement.

“True to Family Feud form, you’ll be left screaming the answers at the television and playing along from the comfort of your couch.”

Denyer will fit the show into his already busy schedule, which not only includes hosting 2DayFM Breakfast with Ed Kavalee and Ash London but also co-hosting Dancing With The Stars with WSFM’s Amanda Keller (also on Ten).

He and London also hosted the first season of Game Of Games on Ten in late 2018.

With ratings of 3-4 % perhaps he should concentrate on his fledgling breakfast show.
