FIVEaa’s charity Radiothon kicks off for a fifth year

FIVEaa Adelaide has kicked off its Radiothon for Variety today (Friday, May 31).

For the fifth consecutive year, announcers are raising funds to help South Australian kids who are sick, disadvantaged for have special needs.

One goal this year is to make school camp a reality for all kids by upgrading the Douglas Scrub Campsite at Blewitt Springs.

David & Will have been broadcasting from Westpac Plaza this morning to raise awareness for the Radiothon.

Listeners can bid for items on air, including an Australian Outdoor Living Swimming Pool packaged worth $40K, Adelaide Outdoor Kitchens packages and a Showdown experieince.

“Once again, we are thrilled and so very proud to get behind such a wonderful initiative and support SA kids in need,” said FIVEaa station manager Craig Munn.

“The whole team at FIVEaa gets right behind this event and Variety as an organisation.”
