Dig digital channel now powered by triple j

triple j and the ABC have this afternoon announced that Dig Music will now come under triple j's management.

Dig Music will now expand to play new music plus classic triple j songs for a 30+ audience.

The channel will be available on DAB+ but also on the ABC Radio App and on all digital TV's.

Dig Music will also host guest programs from Moby, Billy Bragg, Sarah Blasko, Adalita, David Bridie, Missy Higgins, Bernard Fanning, Tex Perkins, Katalyst, Amanda Palmer, Jen Cloher, Josh Pyke, Eskimo Joe, Kevin Mitchell and Clare Bowditch.

triple j are also getting listener feedback on the station for the first 6 months to ensure it's exactly what they want. After such time, Dig Music will officially launch in April 2014.
