Colac Survey Released

The first survey in 9 years has been released for Colac. 

The survey shows that MIXX FM was number 1 most listened with a 31.5% 10 plus. 2nd in the market was ABC 774 (Melbourne) with 18.7%. ACE Radio stable mate 3CS  secured 16% most listened.

In Breakfast MIXX leads the pack as Session Listened to Most with 29.6%. ABC 774 a 21 with 3CS a 17.3. MIXX FM dominates most dayparts with the exception of  Nights, which the ABC takes.

3CS and Mixx FM General Manager Nick Hay said he was excited and delighted with the excellent results for both of the ACE Radio stations in the area. 

“Radio listeners in our region have given us a stamp of approval and we’re excited with the knowledge that we are providing the highest-quality product available in our listening area. Our team does a lot of hard work to make sure our listeners and clients have access to the best service available and these results clearly demonstrate we have been.” he said.

The Local Colac stations commissioned Xtra Research to carry out the survey which involved 600 respondents and was conducted between 17 November and 30 November 2014, using the Industry approved standard for radio audience measurement surveys in regional areas not covered by GfK.
