Chicken signs off from K-ROCK

Paul Dyer aka Chicken has quit K-ROCK's B Team.

The former Big Brother contestant, who owns Winkipop Surf Industry, is looking forward to hitting the waves and spending time with his family.

General Manager Andy Mathers said: “Chicken has been a welcome breath of fresh air on K-ROCK for many years and we thank him for his commitment, dedication and passion for life. He’s a bloke who wears his heart on his sleeve, loves his community and is seen as a mate to many listeners. Somehow I don’t think this is the last we will hear of Chicken on K-ROCK”.

Details of Chicken's replacement have not been released yet but the station says there will be a 'fresh sound' from July 14.
