CBS Radio to host over 350 podcasts on Omny Studio

CBS Radio, one of the largest broadcast radio operators in the US, has joined forces with Omny Studio to host content and drive the broadcaster’s online strategy.

Having already integrated Omny Studio with its existing systems and technology stack, the local audio platform will host more than 350 original and on-demand CBS Radio podcasts.

“We’re excited to have our podcasts and on-demand audio content stored on a centralised system of Omny Studio’s high standard,” said Elizabeth Mozian, senior vice president & general manager, digital, CBS Radio.

SCA and Macquarie Media already utilise Omny’s radio toolset in Australia, with CBS Radio becoming the most recent broadcaster to partner with Omny.

“Omny Studio is not only a powerful tool for managing on-demand content at an enterprise scale, it is a necessary tool for broadcasters wanting to get into the on-demand space,” said Sharon Taylor, CEO of Omny Studio.

Along with CBS Radio, Omny also has agreements with Corus Entertainment (Canada), Emmis Communications (USA), and Primedia (South Africa).
