Canberra Survey released
Ratings in Canberra have just been released this morning, read the summary report here.
104.7 has remained in the leading position for the 11th consecutive survey, despite a slight fall to 19.4%. The dayparts for the station bounced around with growth in mornings, and falls elsewhere. The demographics were similar with signficant falls under 24, a flat result 25-39, and marginal increases over 40.
Sister station Mix 106.3 has recorded the strongest growth in todays results, rebounding from a poor result late in 2011 (11.5%) to record a 15% share overall, and narrowly missing out on second place overall.
Mix saw strong growth increasing in all demographics and all shifts, with the 9-4 TSL zone particularly strong. The survey result for Mix will be particularly encouraging considering they have a 3-month old Breakfast show 'Rod & Biggzy".
The Capital Network stations both recorded increases in listening, with 2CC adding 2.3% to move to 8.7%, and 2CA increasing by a point to 6.0%.
There were mixed results for the ABC stations with Triple J increasing strongly, whilst ABC Local Radio, Radio National and ABC FM all recorded falls.
