Behind The Voice returns to KIIS

Staff Writer

Weekly radio show Behind The Voice will return to the KIIS FM airwaves in Sydney and Melbourne this weekend, coinciding with the launch of The Voice’s live performance television show.

Hosted by KIIS national entertainment reporter John Caldwell, he will joined by The Voice coaches Delta Goodrem, Seal, Boy George and Kelly Rowland each Sunday, featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes news and gossip.

“I can’t wait to take KIIS listeners behind the scenes of The Voice sharing all the drama, excitement and great entertainment from the show with exclusive interviews with the coaches and artists every week,” Caldwell said.

Channel 9’s head of content, production and development, Adrian Swift, echoed Caldwell’s remarks, citing the “huge national reach of the KIIS network” as a key factor in bringing the radio show back to the network.

“Nine are excited to be working with ARN once again this year… The Voice has been a consistent smash hit for us, and we look forward to bringing even more behind-the-scenes coverage of the fans’ favourite artists and superstar coaches.”

Behind the voice will air on Sydney’s KIIS 106.5 and Melbourne’s KIIS 101.1, along with Brisbane’s 97.3FM and Adelaide’s Mix 102.3 each Sunday from 6-7pm.

I listened for the first time on Sunday night. There were great fun interviews from Intern Pete and Alex in the studio gave some awesome hooks but there seemed to be real audio problems with John Cardwell – but he didn’t seem to be on much, it was mainly Pete.
