Seven podcasts debut on Australian Podcast Ranker
The latest edition of the Australian Podcast Ranker by Triton Digital sees seven new podcasts landing on the chart.
The ranker provides insight into the Top 100 podcasts in Australia, as well as the Top 10 Publishers for the month of August.
New titles to have landed in the Top 100 in include Please Explain (Nine Publishing), Naked City (Nine Publishing), and The Night Driver (News Corp Australia).
The #1 podcast in the country continues to be ARN/iHeartMedia’s Stuff You Should Know.
Meanwhile 14 new entries appear in the All-Australian Top 100, including Fear and Greed (Fear and Greed), Six Tackles with Gus (Nine Digital), The Babble with Nat Bass & Matty J (Nova), and The Queensland Briefing (SCA-Triple M).
In terms of radio catch-up podcasts, both The Kyle & Jackie O Show (#6) and Kate, Tim & Marty (#7) stay in the Top 10, while Triple M Footy AFL sneaks in at #10.
ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia was again named as the #1 podcast publisher in the country.
ARN’s head of commercial audio & podcasts, Corey Layton, hailed another “fantastic” result of ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network.
“ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network has consistently held the top spot as Australia’s #1 podcast publisher with #1 and #2 most popular podcasts as we continue to diversify and broaden our offering for audiences and brands,” he said.
iHeartPodcast’s Life Uncut with Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne rose to become the #9 podcast overall and the seventh most popular spot out of Australia podcast.
“To know that we are one year deep and sitting in Australia’s top 10, well, we are just blown away,” Hockley said.
