Are Hamish & Andy about to return to TV?

Rumours around that Hamish & Andy are about to sign a “massive” deal with the Seven Network.

That’s what Showbiz reporter Peter Ford tweeted last night as an “Exclusive”. Peter expanded to say that the rumoured deal would include projects like the 2016 Rio Olympics.

In July last year when Radio Today spoke with Andy Lee, we asked if Television was still on Hamish & Andy’s radar. Andy said they were working on a couple of projects:  “We developing them slowly…. and hopefully they will appear next year”.

H&A’s contract finished with the Nine Network with their final Gap Year series, whcih pulled huge results and even a Logie.

If Seven West Media pull off a deal with the boys, it will be a return to the network they last worked with back in 2004. H&A have worked on the three major commercial networks with TV projects at different times, their work with Nine being the most successful so far.
