Over in the UK they have internal prison radio stations, developed in the early 2000’s; it looks like Australian lock-ups may take a look at the program.

University of Adelaide researcher Charlotte Bedford says. “Through their involvement with radio, they are equipped with confidence, skills and qualifications they need to more easily access education, training and employment”.

It’s a good outcome for those behind bars… but what about the perfect station name and positioner?
