ABC Radio Manager of Sport set to leave

The head of ABC Radio Sport (Grandstand) Craig Norenbergs is leaving the national broadcaster next month.

Craig is set to head across the ditch to Auckland to join The NZ Racing Board as General Manager.

The NZ Racing board is in charge of all racing and sports betting across the country and has close to 1000 employees.

In a statement to ABC Staff,  Jeremy Millar, said “Craig has done much in tackling a rapidly changing sports environment over the last four years and at the same time managed a lot of new activity around digital radio, online, mobile, and of course Radio and TV.”

The hunt will be on to secure Craig’s replacement.
