A couple of familiar faces front a new newspaper marketing effort

As you wake up this Sunday morning, a couple of familiar faces will appear in a new newspaper subscriber campaign. Nova 969’s Fitzy and Wippa are set to front part of a new marketing push for The Sunday Telegraph.

As reported in Mumbrella, it’s the papers newest tilt for subscribers. The campaign is backed by a four week radio push with print supporting it. 

They have even used a slightly Nova-esque type, irreverent headline  “Sunday isn’t Sunday without  Reading Wippa’s home delivered newspaper”  – but we noticed that Piggy Smalls is nowhere to be seen in the styled home environment.
