97.3 Coast FM & 91.7 the Wave’s Donation Drive

West Coast Radio’s 91.7 The Wave and 97.3 Coast FM are joining forces with the community for the Homelessness Awareness Drive that launches today.

With the help of local support service West Aus Crisis Care, the call is put out to the community to give what they can in the form of non-perishable food items and winter gear to help the vulnerable stay warm and fed this winter.

Every year 1 in 105 Western Australians call on homelessness support services like WestAus Crisis Care for assistance, so every donation counts.

Last year’s Homelessness Awareness Drive received ten van loads of winter gear and food items thanks to Wave and Coast listeners.

Listeners can pitch in again this year by donating quality new and used (in good condition) winter clothing, sleeping bags, blankets, pop-up tents and shoes.

Those wishing to donate can find donation guides on their websites.

Listen out for their Collection Crosses, or drop off donations at 141-143 Mandurah Terrace in Mandurah from 11/07 – 09/08, between 8.30 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday.
