2UE to call Lions Rugby tour

2UE have announced that they will broadcast the Lions Rugby tour of Australia, starting with this weekends Waratahs vs Lions warm-up match in Sydney.

Following this weekend, 2UE will call the two test matches between the Wallabies and the Lions, as well as the Wallabies and All-Blacks Bledisoe Cup test match in August.

2UE Content Director Clinton Maynard (right) commented;

“It’s the most anticipated Rugby series in years, with about 15 thousand fans are flying out from the UK to follow the tour."
