25 Years for Sarah King

Today marks a nice milestone for Sarah King, 25 years of breakfast on the Central Coast at 2GO FM.

That works out to 9,125 4am wake up alarms, 24,000 hours of live radio, around 6000 cups of tea, Sarah reading 14,400 newspapers and making a heap of people on the Coast happy each morning.

Bob Peter’s was her very first On-Air partner and today she wakes up each morning with Paddy Gerard.

Out of her 25 years, Sarah has said one of her proudest achievements to date is  founding Southern Cross Austereo’s Give Me 5 for Kids 21 years ago.

Give Me 5 is now across 34 markets and has raised over $2.5 million dollars for local children’s wards in 2015 alone.
