Wilko farewells Star 104.5

Following the news last week that he is battling an eye tumour, Wilko from the Star 104.5 Breakfast Program on the Central Coast finished with the station this morning to focus on his medical challenges.

In an emotional farewell, which saw the entire station crowd into the on-air studio, Wilko said goodbye with a montage of some of the highlights of the 'Mandy & Wilko' Breakfast show.

Co-host Mandy Coolen told Wilko; 

"your courage in coming to work while you've been in pain and struggling with the news of your tumour has been nothing short of inspirational".
