Triple M’s ‘The Great Australian Doorstep’ returns on Australia Day

Staff Writer

Australia’s only dedicated radio travel show returns to Triple M on Saturdays in 2019.

The first episode of ‘The Great Australian Doorstep’ will air on Australia Day, hosted by Peter ‘Spida’ Everitt and his wife Sheree.

“The show is all about how to travel this great country and get the true Aussie experience by travelling on the road, we also cover some epic bucket list locations and international experiences too,’’ said Spida.

The show will cover Australia’s best regional festivals, food trails, some of the worlds best diving and snorkelling hotspots, walking and cycling holidays.

Spida says his favourite place to visit in Australia would have to be the outback.

‘’During the holidays, everyone crams along the coastline, but I like to see the red dust of the Australian outback, getting there is half the fun and there’s nothing better than kicking back with the locals in an outback pub,” he said.

Hear ‘The Great Australian Doorstep’ every Saturday from 6am-7am on the Triple M Network.

That was so good to read. I’ve always loved The Great Australian Doorstep. It’s such a great radio program full of awesome Aussie music, and Peter & Sheree are awesome hosts as well. Looking forward to another big year of the show! Hopefully it’ll continue for many years to come.

A rubbish show foistered upon regionals. If having to listen to Cenatiempo wasn’t bad enough, we have this rubbish and 2 hours of country music as well.

What did we do to deserve such awfulness?
