Triple M Goulburn Valley starts a band

Staff Writer

The team at Triple M 95.3 Goulburn Valley have started their very own local band.

The idea came when Brekky announcer Seany revealed he was in a boy band back in the day and wanted to reunite with his old team.

When he wasn’t able to reunite the original members, he decided to create a local band with Workday announcer Bill, and the band was called AC/GV.

The band rocked the Aussie Hotel for one night and nailed it.

95.3 Triple M’s Seany for Breakfast picked up his guitar and put together his very own Rock Band ”AC/GV” for a one night only gig at the Aussie Hotel. How’d you rate them?

Radio 5AA in Adelaide began a staff band in 1996 – the “5AA Rock and Roll Allstars”. Mainly staff members – including Graham Cornes – with a couple of ring-ins (including John Bywaters from The Twilights on bass). While there has been a few line-up changes, the band continues to perform today under the name Cornesy’s Allstar Rock Band. Graham and David Heath are the only remaining originals.
