This Is Robin Bailey: “The whole station is right behind me coming in”

Here is our exclusive with Robin Bailey after her debut on Triple M Brisbane breakfast yesterday, following a highly publicised departure from 97.3 FM where she co-hosted a winning breakfast show for ten years.

On joining Ed and Marto, Robin said she was a little nervous and excited ahead of the first show and quietly spent last week in the studio with them, “just observing”.

“I always said when it was first announced that I was coming to Triple M that my gig was to come in a be a part of their party, and I really wanted to just come in and join what they were doing, and maybe add a bit of my stuff to it. They’ve got a great thing going on,” she said.

Radio Today editor Jake Challenor spoke up with Robin for a candid chat after yesterday’s show.
